The big weird world of Social Media
Most will tell you a strong social presence is absolutely necessary in attracting a younger audience (think anyone under 30).
However, companies and brands worldwide don’t understand the platform. So they rebuke it, mistreat it, throw money at it, all in hopes of fixing the problem.
But that is the problem.
Social media is supposed to be fun. It wasn’t made for ads, it was made for self expression. Sharing cool pictures of cats. Stunning 4-course meals off the coast of France. Asking questions. Taking selfies.
Theres more to this Social Media thing than followers and measured likes.
Over the course of my career, I’ve had the pleasure of working on the social media presence for a wide variety of brands. (American Heart Association, Apothic Wines, Baptist Health, Colorado Department of Transportation and Office of Behavioral Health, to name a few)
I’ve developed Campaign Strategies, Internal Tone, Editorial Post Calendars, Banner and Carousel Ads, Story Content, and All-Things-Email.
I’m interested in helping brands and businesses utilize social media to create authentic experiences for their followers.
To turn fans and customers into brand advocates.
